I’m ok with big, dumb truck engines when they make the noises the ACR makes.
Actually, I used to not care for the sound, but lately it’s been really growing on me. And the ACR looks absolutely fantastic. Like Evil incarnate.

God, I love this car in Fourza. If you do an AWD swap and turbo it, the ‘08 ACR benchmarks a 0-60 time of 1.8 seconds!

The best thing about the Viper is that it’s the peak of barn-door engineering. Massive engine, manual trans that seems to be pulled from a truck, a pair of I-beams and some plastic to keep stones out of your face.
I'm not one of those people who will try to claim that the latest gen is "too refined", but the first two will always be more special.

Yes, exactly! I still can’t get over how much people hate on this car. They check off all the boxes an enthusiast should ever want.
The ACRs are seriously, seriously fast and competent cars. That lap time is just nuts. Long live the Viper!

It’s a polarizing car and those are often the best types of cars to own/drive! People don’t break their necks for a 911 GTS these days, you bet I’d be drooling and lane changing to catch a Viper.

Enthusiasts I guess want a high end luxury interior to go along with it. They always bring up that a Porsche/Ferrari has nice interiors and all at. Who cares? Give me raw speed!

Seriously, they see that it’s American car and go into full ani-American “Jeremy Clarkson mode”. By that, I mean that they now have to find faults with it more aggressively, pointing out panel gaps and interior materials. I usually replay with a image of an ACR blasting around a tack saying, “ sorry, what did you say?...interior trim what? What was that? vroooom!”

Take everything you just said and apply it to any generation Z06 or Hellcat as well. Exposed fasteners, my ass. When it puts Ferarris to shame at 1/4 the price, you can deal with a few small quirks.
